SRIKANTH KIDAMBI AND SAI PRANEETH INTO THE FINALS: SINGAPORE OPEN SUPERSERIES TOURNAMENT

Entering into finals of Singapore Open

Srikanth Kidambi and Sai Praneeth stepped themselves into the exciting final of Singapore Open Superseries Tournament. Both had a great tournament and their performance showed everything in the Singapore Open Superseries Tournament.

Into the finals of Singapore 2017

This achievement is a great experience for youngster (23 years old) Sai Praneeth. He managed himself to the finals by all his hardwork and passion towards the game.

He is currently at 30th position but his performance does not defines his rank as he defeated World No. 8 and 11 Tanongsak Saensombonsk before entering into the semifinals of the Singapore Open Superseries Tournament.

In semi-final Sai Praneeth had an easy win over 35th ranked Lee Dong Keun. This is his maiden final in any of the series tournament. He had a blasting first game of 21-6 and then in he again managed to win by 21-8. He finished the game in just 38 minutes.

In the first game he went upto score straight 10-0 leaving Lee as a brain faded man. In the second game he took a lead of 9-1 then 10-4 and after the  it was a blasting one way show from the Junior World Championship Bronze Medalist.

But it was just a trailer shown by Sai Praneeth and the movie was left which was to be shown by the Srinath Kidambi in the later half of the Singapore Open.

Entering into finals of Singapore Open

Srinath Kidambi the former 3rd ranked in world defeated the Indonesian Anthony Sinisaka Ginting. This show was put forward by the shuttler in a very dramatic way.

He was lagging behind by 8-3 in the first half of the first game after then it got turned into 10-6 thereby leading by 4 points and get the first win by 21-13.

When it came to 2nd game Srikanth Kidambi did not take any chance and got a lead over Anthony by 9-1. But the climax was still left when Anthony jumped back to reduce the gap by 2  that is 16-14. But that was the last twist and then Srikanth Kidambi took 5 continuous points and claimed the win by 21-16.

The final between Kadambi and Praneeth will be a very strong and stunning battle but for Indian Badminton it is a very pride moment.
