AFTER IPL 2016
Mustafizur Rahman had a blasting last year for orange army. He played 16 games for them and had a major role in their winning title. But unfortunately he suffered from shoulder injury during English County Championship in August while playing for Sussex.
In January-December he got selected for series against New Zealand. He played two ODI’s and two T20I’s before having an acquaintance with hamstring injury. This became the reason of missing the upcoming test matches.
Then came the Sri Lanka tour where he played three ODI’s, two T20I’s and two tests. He got selected for this tour because of his hard work in overcoming his injuries and doing exceptionally good in First Class cricket.
Now he is ready to join the SRH club on 12 April and will be available for long. But it may get a chance he misses out from IPL after 8th May. He might get selected for the tri-series between Bangladesh, New Zealand and Ireland scheduled from 12th May.
SRH will get into trouble if they got into the play offs scheduled on 16 May and misses Mustafizur Rahman from the squad. The final of the IPL will be played on May 21.
